Ricardo Fraxedas, PE <br />(Continued) <br />Off -Shore Borrow Area One Derelict Tire Removal <br />and Disposal <br />Broward County, Florida <br />Project Manager: Provided project management, on- <br />site subcontractor coordination, area inspection, and <br />reporting for project to locate and collect derelict <br />automobile tires from 108 acres of the sea floor less <br />than one mile off the coast of Deerfield Beach. Used <br />a remote sensing GPS unit with ArcView and <br />Offshore Navigator software to direct the collecting <br />barge along tracks transecting the area. Coordinated <br />to minimize interference with water traffic and to <br />establish work zone restrictions. Responsible for <br />providing oversight of GIS -based mapping and a tire <br />removal project as well as providing regulatory <br />interface and interviews to news media. <br />Stormwater Services at Fort Lauderdale <br />International and North Perry Airports <br />Broward County Aviation Department, Florida <br />Project Manager: Provided stormwater management <br />program development and compliance services for <br />Fort Lauderdale International and North Perry <br />airports. Services included sampling, permitting, and <br />facility inspections. As part of the stormwater <br />program development, services included the <br />development of a training program and materials for <br />the training of the operations staff at the airports as <br />well as the development of training materials for the <br />education of the tenants at the airports. <br />Various Projects <br />Chevron Environmental Management Company, <br />Latin America and the Caribbean <br />Principal Engineer: Services provided include <br />ESAs, remedial system design, site remediation, and <br />interaction with regulatory agencies in several <br />countries. Was awarded a "Best in Class <br />Performance" service award from Chevron in 2011. <br />As part of the services for one of the sites in <br />Nicaragua, a presentation to the Supreme Court in <br />Managua (in Spanish) was provided to establish the <br />appropriate cleanup protocol. <br />Caxambas Park Marina Underground Storage <br />Tank Installation <br />Collier County Board of County Commissioners, <br />Florida <br />Principal Engineer: Installation of a new 10,000 - <br />gallon UST and electronic monitoring system. <br />Services included project management, <br />subcontractor procurement/management, and on -site <br />monitoring of installation process. Responsible for <br />reviewing all engineering reports and recommending <br />remedial strategy and action plan for client. <br />' Miami -Dade County Water and Sewer Department <br />ISD Project No. E13- WASD -03 <br />Island Transfer Station Tank Removal <br />Environmental Testing and Reporting <br />Collier County Board of County Commissioners, <br />Florida <br />Principal Engineer: Project included environmental <br />testing, reporting, related services for removal of two <br />USTs, and assessment of petroleum contamination <br />at Marco Island Transfer Station. Services included <br />preparation of site - specific Health and Safety Plan; <br />subcontracting, planning and coordination with <br />PSCC, FDEP, and Collier County; tank removal <br />monitoring; installation of environmental monitoring <br />wells; subcontracting laboratory analytical services; <br />preparing, drafting, and submitting Tank closure and <br />site assessment reports and a monitoring plan to the <br />FDEP; and quarterly groundwater monitoring. <br />Responsible for review of all environmental reports. <br />01 Contract <br />Miami -Dade County Department of Environmental <br />Management, Florida <br />Program Manager: Services provided under the <br />contract include all requested environmental services <br />for all Miami -Dade County Departments. Services <br />provided have included water quality prediction <br />modeling for proposed alterations to the inlets of a <br />"lagoon beach" for the Parks Department as well as <br />numerous contamination assessments and cleanups <br />for sites including Miami International Airport, the Port <br />of Miami, and the Virginia Key wastewater treatment <br />plant. <br />Commercial Site Groundwater Remediation <br />Design and Development <br />DME Corporation, Florida <br />Project Manager: Performed site remediation, <br />involving removal and destruction of dissolved <br />chlorinated hydrocarbons for a three -acre site. <br />Services included quarterly and annual groundwater <br />sampling and reporting; negotiations with local <br />regulators and managing client risk; and system <br />optimization. <br />Everglades Phase I Environmental Site <br />Assessments <br />National Park Service, Florida <br />Principal Engineer: Provided environmental <br />planning services and documentation, environmental <br />compliance services, environmental/occupational <br />training services, waste management services, GIS <br />and remediation services review, and input of Phase I <br />reports for land acquisition. <br />February 24, 2014 <br />
