L] <br />11 <br />Community Partnership for the Homeless offers services to 5,000 clients per year. Mr. Robert E. Chisholm, FAIR, NCARB was <br />personally in charge and directly responsible (as chair of D=C committee 1993 -2005) of programmine, designing, bidding and <br />constructing the Homeless Assistance facility. this 500 -bed, 70.000 square -foot facility consisting of a social services center, <br />administrative offices, family resource center, child care area, classrooms, various multi - purpose areas, outdoor /indoor play areas, <br />dormitories, kitchen and dining areas and a health clinic. This structure services homeless single men, single women, and families aiding <br />each to rehabilitated lives. Mrs. Trish Bell, Chairperson (305.329.3000) <br />The initial complex was completed in 1998 and we have continued to complete various renovations including: <br />• Basketball court, recreation area, children's plaveround / 550,000 / (2007) <br />• Dog Kennel and run / SM,000 / (1998) (The Dog Kennel was the first of its kind in Miami -Dade County. A new code chapter <br />had to be written in the Miami -Dade County Zoning code to cover such project types.) <br />Future phases include the following: <br />• 20 unit emergency shelter / 5800,000 / (2014) <br />The Centers are designed to foster respect and hope for human beings. <br />Note: One of the particularly significant aspects of our qualifications is not only that Robert E. Chisholm FAIA was the architect and <br />responsible for design and construction implementation for the two above facilities, and the subsequent projects over the years, but Mr. <br />Alvah H Chapman in. the Founding Chairman of CPH, asked his architect to succeed him as chairman of this philanthropic organization <br />from 2005 to 2010. \Ir. Chisholm, as Chairman of the Board, led this 150 employee, $12M/yr operation and raised the endowment from <br />S 17M to $22M and cash -on -hand from S9M to S I IM and raised $4M/yr in donations during his 5 year tenure. Prior to this, Mr. Chisholm <br />served as the Vice Chairman from 2003 -2005. <br />The Chapman Partnership established the Robert E. Chisholm Award for Service after he stepped down as chairman in 2010. Since 2010, <br />Mr. Chisholm continues to serve on the Executive Committee. <br />
