(MSA) provided professional engineering services to the <br />X-liami -Dade Park and Recreation Department (NIDP &RD) for the wastewater improvements for <br />the Oak Grove Park. The proposed improvements to the park were as follows: <br />• Submersible sewage pump station. <br />• Approximately 1,625 feet of 8 -inch force main connecting to the existing 8 -inch force <br />main located at the intersection of NE 156 Street and NE 8 Avenue. <br />• 6 -inch sewer lateral with clean outs to serve existing facilities. <br />• Abandonment of the existing septic tank(s). <br />MSA's scope of services included the following <br />Kick -Off Meeting - Facilitated a project kickoff meeting to identify the project team <br />representatives, submitted a proposed work -plan for MDP &RD's approval, reviewed the project <br />delivery schedule, and established procedures for project communication. MSA generated a <br />meeting agenda and subsequent meeting minutes for the review and approval of the MDP &RD. <br />Data Gathering and Analysis - Reviewed and analyzed all project related information provided <br />by the MDP &RD and identified any additional information necessary for the performance of the <br />proposed services. The information reviewed and analyzed, provided the basis for the <br />development of the contract documents for the project. <br />Construction Documents Development - Prepared engineering plans, technical specification per <br />the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), a project schedule, and a statement of probable <br />costs for the applicable civil engineering components. The deliverables consisted of the submittal <br />of 50% progress plans, and final plans. <br />Permit Support Services — Provided regulatory permitting assistance via the preparation of <br />necessary permit applications and assisted the MDP &RD in the acquisition of these permit <br />approvals from the following agencies: <br />• Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department (MD WAS D) <br />• Miami -Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) <br />• Miami -Dade County Building and Zoning Department (MDB &ZD) <br />• Miami -Dade County Public Works Department (MDPWD) <br />
