He has been involved in all aspects of construction projects from conceptual <br />design to project closeout, and his experience includes performing structural design; <br />reviewing codes and specs compliance; providing threshold inspections for qualifying <br />contractors; working on bid and award phases; monitoring quality of work performed <br />during construction; processing and responding to RFIs and change orders, tracking and <br />monitoring quantities of materials; tracking and maintaining schedules; and coordinating <br />with subcontractors and stakeholders for the construction process. As a PE, he has also <br />worked closely in developing biddable plans for both horizontal and vertical projects <br />Key Projects <br />Miami -Dade County Peak Flow Study <br />Miami -Dade County Water & Sewer <br />Department, Florida <br />Project Manager - Mr. Compres <br />provided management services <br />in an effort to develop Remedial <br />Action Plans for approximately 350 <br />Pump Stations, plans that were <br />mostly accomplished though <br />computer simulation. The $4M <br />project also included field inspection <br />work for actual working conditions. <br />The information retrieved from the <br />field was critical in developing the <br />Remedial Action Plan and helped <br />to upgrade each individual pump <br />station and make it compliant with <br />the 10 Hr NAPOT criteria. The project <br />also included a capital improvement <br />plan, evaluation of the existing <br />wastewater treatment system with <br />respect to current regulations, <br />determination of future regulatory <br />requirements and treatment <br />needs including incorporation of <br />a recently issued Reuse Feasibility <br />Study and compliance with <br />anticipated nutrient removal limits <br />and development of a wastewater <br />treatment and reuse implementation <br />capital improvement plan. <br />Miramar Roadway Infrastructure <br />Project, Capital Improvement Project, <br />Phase III <br />City of Miramar, Florida <br />Project Engineer - Mr. Compres <br />monitored construction activities <br />throughout the southern half of the <br />City on a project consisting of the <br />installation of all water, sewer, and <br />drainage, as well as expansion of a <br />Continuing ?:ofessioncl Services for cngineenng <br />.1: Q No. 1' -07 -02 <br />August 12,20J4 <br />1001 <br />lift station and roadway resurfacing. <br />He also provided design services <br />for 70,000 LF of water mains thru <br />the western portion of the city and <br />cost estimate support services to <br />the city, in addition to construction <br />administration services and bid <br />support. <br />Miami International Airport South <br />Terminal Dual Taxiway <br />Miami. Florida <br />Engineer of Record - Mr. Compres <br />reviewed testing reports and <br />quality control inspections on a <br />project consisting of providing <br />soils, foundations, and material <br />testing services. He supervised all <br />procedures, inspection processes, <br />and calculations that made up the <br />reports. The following tests were <br />performed: Concrete Cylinder per <br />ASTM C -31, strength test per C -39 <br />using C -617 OR C -1231, Flexural <br />test per ASTM C -78 (ASTM C -31, <br />C -78) cast per ASTM C -36, and Field <br />Density test (Sand cone method) <br />per AASHTO T -19 and ASTM D -1556. <br />Miami International Airport Mover APM <br />System <br />Miami, Florida <br />Engineer of Record - Mr. Compres <br />oversaw the construction materials <br />testing and inspection services on the <br />base and sub - grade, cast -in -place <br />concrete; monitored construction <br />materials and construction methods <br />for compliance with the contract <br />documents; and oversaw the <br />performance of the following tests: <br />Backfill monitoring, compaction <br />Cff <br />
