<br />Ms. Gertenbach has over 22 years of environmental consulting experience,
<br />including 17 years in South Florida. She opened the E Sciences Fort Education
<br />Lauderdale office in April 2002, and presently is a Senior Associate providing B.S., Geology, West Georgia College, 1991,
<br />contract management, QA/QC and technical leadership on a variety of projects Magna Cum Laude
<br />and contracts. She has managed and/or provided technical support on large Professional Licenses / Certifications
<br />contracts with multiple task orders for a number of public clients including the Professional Geologist: FL -2037, GA -1444
<br />FDOT, FDEP, Broward County, SFWMD, Miami -Dade County Monroe LEEDGreen Assodate
<br />County, numerous municipalities in South Florida, U.S. Department of Defense
<br />(Army and Air Force), National Park Service and FWS in Florida, Georgia, PADI – Advanced Open Water Diver
<br />Kansas, Ohio, Virginia, Puerto Rico and New York. Her experience in the FWC Certified Manatee Observer
<br />private sector includes industrial and commercial facilities, mining operations, Hydric Soils Workshop
<br />developers, and law fines. Through these projects she has gained experience SFWMD UMAM Workshop
<br />in agency coordination; public meetings; contamination assessments (Phase I USACE Wetlands Delineation and
<br />and II) and remediation that consider both ecological and human health risks in
<br />a variety of media for a variety of constituents; regulatory compliance; principal Management Training
<br />author and/or reviewer for NEPA and FDOT PD &E Studies and associated OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER/8 Hour Site
<br />documents; extensive monitoring, sampling, disposal and documentation of Supervisor
<br />contaminated and/or hazardous substances; extensive interpretation, Certified FDEP Stornwater, Erosion and
<br />communication and recommendations to staff and clients of assessment Sedimentation Control Inspector and
<br />results; installation, development and sampling of hundreds of groundwater I Instructor
<br />monitoring wells and piezometers; NPDES permit implementation; GIS; aquifer
<br />analyses; water quality studies; environmental impact reviews/phase reviews; Years of Experience 22

<br />Project Experience
<br />Miscellaneous Permitting, FDOT District Six, Florida — As project manager, Ms. Gertenbach provided permit support for
<br />various projects and permits including DERM Class I and Class IV permits, ERPs, benthic surveys, manatee observations, wetland
<br />delineations, preliminary wetlands and environmental assessment of potential greenways, and development of a permit tracking
<br />system and a training CD-ROM for teaching scientists how to read road construction plans.
<br />General Environmental Coordination & Support for Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail, Monroe County, Florida — As
<br />project manager, Ms. Gertenbach provided environmental coordination and technical support to FDEP for permits, mitigation, and
<br />coordination with SFWMD, FDOT and local municipalities involved with the construction of the 1015-mile pedestrian - bicycle path to
<br />be completed from Key Largo to Key West utilizing 23 of the historic Flagler Railroad Bridges. Coordination included providing
<br />NEPA documentation to FDOT for each for each segment.
<br />Indian Key Fill Bike Trail, Islamorada, Florida — As project manager for this project, Ms. Gertenbach provided management and
<br />technical support for a Stormwater Demonstration Projectibicycle path upgrade for Islamorada. Services included construction
<br />engineering inspections and assistance with negations with SFWMD. She collaborated with FDOT and SFWMD to obtain permit
<br />modification for changes in design mid - stream that warranted change from Noticed General to Standard General Permit; developed
<br />a fast -track mitigation plan for contractor to minimize impacts to adjacent wetlands; assisted the municipality with implementation of
<br />the mitigation plan and with fines negotiations with SFWMD; performed biological assessments; and submitted the final turbidity
<br />monitoring report.
<br />Canal Assessment Report, Islamorada, Florida — As project manager, Ms. Gertenbach worked closely with the Village of
<br />Islands, Islamorada public works department to identify canal(s) for water quality improvement projects by reviewing available data
<br />® to evaluate the best candidate canals based on need and a cost- benefit analysis. The review included summarizing water quality
<br />data that had been collected as part of Islamorada's monitoring program, analyzing data for trends, and examining possible
<br />treatment technologies. She collaborated with state and local agencies to identify permit requirements for water quality
