Continuing Professional Services for Architectural, Landscape Architectural, <br />Engineering and Land Surveying Firm Only (CCNA) - RFQ No. 14 -07 -02 <br />wastewater and water distribution systems. We have designed water and sewer services for commercial sites and <br />our staff has developed wastewater and water distribution plans for citywide systems and to service Industrial <br />Parks and new communities. <br />RJ Behar has worked on several significant projects in the City of Hallandale Beach such as the Stormwater <br />Drainage Improvements for Chaves Lake and 1 -95; the services included a HydrologicJHydraulic study, <br />stormwater master plan, and flood control study and implementation plan. <br />For the Area West of US 1 - Improvement Project, RJ Behar provided a drainage study for flood control services; <br />performed the design for drainage improvements and water utility relocation, and provided construction <br />management services. RJ Behar also completed the design for the FEMA Mitigation Pump Station. <br />Water 8 Sewer Design <br />In the area of water distribution and wastewater collection, <br />we have extensive expertise. We provided general <br />engineering services contract for the Broward County <br />Water and Wastewater Services Department and we <br />participated in the Waterworks program for the City of Fort - <br />Lauderdale. In these contracts, RJ Behar performed the <br />design of water distribution systems, conversion of septic <br />tank neighborhoods to wastewater collection systems, <br />pump station design, rehabilitation of existing lift stations, electrical and <br />mechanical evaluations, preparation of Basis of Design Reports (BODR), <br />review of master planning documents, evaluation of sites for communication e <br />towers, hydraulic analyses and calculations, as well as construction <br />administration and observation services. For Palm Beach County, RJ Behar <br />designed the relocation of 1,310 feet of 20 inch water main and 1,299 feet of 16 inch force <br />main relocation as part of the Northlake Boulevard Bridge over the Loxahatchee Slough. The new water main and <br />force main are located on the new bridge. RJ Behar prepared all the details and structural design to accommodate <br />the new utilities on the bridge. <br />Other projects include: <br />SE 3b Street between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and G Avenue, Belle Glade, Palm Beach County, <br />Florida. This was a Design -Build contract with water and sewer relocations. <br />• UAZ Zone 303 for the Broward County Water and Wastewater Services Department. <br />• Sistrunk Boulevard Water Main relocation for the City of Fort Lauderdale. <br />• Shady Banks Septic Tank Area 5 conversion to sanitary collection. <br />• The Broadview Estates Neighborhood Improvement Project (BENIP) project. RJ Behar provided support <br />in the preparation of sanitary sewer plans for bid package No 2. <br />• Crown Linen sewer connection in the City of Hialeah. <br />• The Public Safety Building for City of Coral Springs. <br />Pump Stations <br />Our experience with pump stations includes both sanitary pump stations and stormwater pump stations. For the <br />South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), we have inspected more than 20 stormwater pump stations. <br />These inspections included all the components including civil, structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
