FIRM OVERVIEW CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT The CAS Construction Management Team has a combined total experience of nearly 100 years. CAS Field Representatives are qualified to perform a full- service program, assuring total monitoring on -site to protect the client's interest on their projects. The CAS Construction Management Team will keep the client informed of all facets of construction including, but not limited to, weekly progress notices, advice on any change orders and monthly monitoring of project finances. The Construction Management Team of professionals provide extra attention to detail to ensure that all projects are built to specifications and are fully operational to meet the needs of our client. Bidding Coordination • Contract Documents • Contact Negotiation • Construction Management Residential /Commercial /Municipal Project Observations CADD CAPABILITY CAS employs three (3) out of the seventy (70) Florida Certified American Design & Drafting Association CADD Operators. Our CADD Technicians prepare detailed drawings, layouts, exhibits, topographical maps, and graphic representations of survey information & engineering designs by using computer software known as AutoCAD. Designs relate to engineering projects such as water, sewer, paving and drainage systems. Craig A. Smith & Associates prides itself in keeping its workforce educated and equipped to handle today's most challenging and rewarding tasks. CAS is utilizing the latest AutoCAD software (Civil3D), custom -built AutoCAD systems and functions, as well as some industry-first hardware including 3D laser scanning technologies. In summation, the CADD systems we use are: • AutoCAD FDOT Site Menu for AutoCAD • Autodesk Civil 3D MicroStation • Autodesk Land Development Desktop GeoPak • Autodesk Survey FDOT Site Menu • Autodesk Civil Design FDOT EDI SUBSURFACE UTILITY LOCATES CAS provides complete subsurface utility engineering and location services utilizing the latest in electronic verification, Ground Penetrating Radar, Vacuum Excavation and GPS survey equipment. CAS can provide utility location information in various formats from simplistic 2D (two dimensional) to comprehensive 3D (three dimensional) Radar Tomography coupled with advanced software platforms such as: AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Microstation, Geopak. CAS performs Subsurface Utility Engineering providing utility mapping, electromagnetic designating, 2D radar designating, 3D radar tomography, vacuum soft digs, conventional and GPS utility surveys.
