City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 14‐07‐02 8   <br />  <br />Section 2 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br />  <br />2.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The objective of this solicitation is to solicit proposals for the qualifications and selection of firms <br />to provide Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, and/or Land <br />Surveying consulting professional services in conformance with FSS §287.055. <br /> <br />This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) shall serve to provide interested parties with general <br />information as to the procedures for selection of firms providing architectural, landscape <br />architectural, engineering and land surveying services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />The City may select one or more firms for each specialization or professional category. Firms will <br />not be limited to one professional category. Each selected firm shall enter into a contract with the <br />City on a per project basis. A purchase order / work order or similar document between the City <br />and the selected firm will be issued for each project. Any professional services listed below will be <br />for projects that do not exceed $2,000,000.00 in basic construction cost or $200,000.00 for a <br />planning or study activity pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055. <br /> <br />2.2 CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />Architecture <br /> <br />Activities may include but shall not be limited to: <br /> <br />• Provide drawings and specification for facility additions, renovations <br />or new construction. <br /> <br />• Attend meetings with City staff and presentations to City <br />Commission; Provide plans developed on AutoCAD’s latest version <br />and copies of a reproducible hard copy and diskette of plans in the <br />requested format shall be provided to the City. <br /> <br /> Permit assistance. <br /> <br /> Construction phase services. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Landscape Architecture <br /> <br />Activities may include but shall not be limited to: <br /> <br />• Provide drawings and specifications for landscaping projects <br /> <br />• Site master planning, analysis and design <br /> <br />• Urban design plans/concept diagrams <br />
