AECOM RFQ No. 14 -07 -02 Dispute Disclosure Form — cent
19.3. Has your firm had against it or filed any requests for equitable adjustment, contract claims, Bid
protests, or litigation in the past five (5) years that is related to the services your firm provides in the
regular course of business? If yes, state the nature of the request for equitable adjustment, contract
claim, litigation, or protest, and state a brief description of the case, the outcome or status of the suit
and the monetary amounts of extended contract time involved.
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is a large professional services company that executes thousands of
projects annually. As with any large service company, from time to time, AECOM is involved in claims
and litigation. However, we strive to avoid litigation and have a risk management program in place that
includes early recognition of situations that might give rise to a claim, open lines of communication and
proactive dispute resolution. None of our current litigation could reasonably be expected to have a
material adverse effect on AECOM or its ability to perform under the Contract contemplated by the
proposal. If you require additional information, please contact Chris Karpathy at 972 - 735 -3011. In an
effort to be as responsive as possible to the RFP request, we offer the following table that summarizes
the litigation matters that have been filed against AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (f /k /a Earth Tech, Inc.)
since 2009, arising out of the performance of professional engineering, design and construction services
in the South Region of the U.S. This list excludes personal injury claims and collection matters.
Case Name/
Case Number
Date filed or claim
received
Court where filed
Status or
Outcome
(Settlement,
trial or
dismissal
Comments
City of Sarasota v.
Filed February 25,
AECOM Technical
2013, Circuit Court of
Complaint for damages in
Services, Inc. al.
the Twelfth Judicial
Pending
connection with the design and
Case Number 2013 -CA-
2
Circuit for Sarasota
construction of sewage lift station
001728 NC
County, FL
and sewer line.
Taos County, New Mexico
Filed December 11,
Complaint against multiple parties
v.
