Florida 33334 <br />Phone: (954) 630 -4477 <br />Email: harrish @oaklandpark.org <br />June 2009 <br />Construction on Hold <br />2014 <br />Engineer's Estimate - S2.6 Million <br />This project involved the provision of professional engineering services for <br />the design and permitting of approximately 0.90 miles of roadway <br />improvements. <br />The consulting services included landscape and streetscape enhancement. a complete storm sewer system. a <br />roundabout to replace an existing traffic signal, traffic calming devices. utility coordination and relocation, and <br />full roadway reconstruction. The main Project objective was to discourage truck traffic and redirect cut - <br />through traffic from NE 38th Street to alternate routes between Andrews Avenue and NE 11s Avenue. This <br />project required permit approvals from Broward County Environmental Protection Department (EPD). and the <br />City of Oakland Park Public Works and Engineering and Community Development Departments. This project <br />will utilize FDOT LAP funding for construction.
