Florida 33314 <br />Phone: (954) 797 -2093 <br />Email: will_allen @davie- fl.gov <br />------------------------------------------------- <br />$168.240.00 <br />Study: May 2009 <br />L Design Plans: Late 2011 <br />The Town of Davie Community Redevelopment Agency has completed the <br />Westside Town Hall Drainage Study within the CRA, west of Davie Road and <br />north of Orange Drive. The site is approximately thirty -four (33.79) acres and <br />is bounded by S.W. 41s, Court on the south, S.W. 67th Avenue on the west. <br />S.W. 39th Street on the north, and Davie Road on the east The Drainage Study <br />incorporated a 5 acres parcel of Town owned land adjacent to the Central <br />Broward Water Control District Canal west of Town Hall as a passive <br />park /retention area to attenuate the stormwater. <br />Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. is urre <br />cntly working on the Contract Drawings for the Westside Town Hall <br />Drainage System. The Public Works site. West Side. Covenant House Park Site, North Side with Dry Retention, <br />and the S.W. 67� Avenue Extension are all proposed to be interconnected with a storm drainage trunk line, <br />and discharge to the CBWCD N -7 Canal via one (1) new control structure. The Public Works site currently has <br />its own 15" outfall pipe to the canal, which will be removed. The new control structure will be placed in the dry <br />retention area near the <br />northern end of the I 1 , (� — S I —; ; ; z 1, ; __'s I <br />Covenant House Park Site <br />and will have a 5.40 -inch <br />wide weir slot at invert <br />elevation 3.55' NAVD to limit <br />the discharge to the canal <br />and to provide the required <br />water quality for the Public ,! 1• =t I ° -� e `L <br />Works Site. Covenant House (. <br />Park Site. and the West Side <br />The North Side will have its <br />own dry retention area for <br />water quality and control ' <br />r <br />structure with a weir - i `! ,� n �.'+^.�; �• ; i o I � <br />elevation of 3.10' NAVD <br />prior to discharging to the lit 9 - s'! ,- <br />main trunk line.
