(CTA) assisted in converting the <br />City's existing storm water assessment system on commercial property <br />owners within the City to a ESRI GIS format. We analyzed the City's <br />current database having a customer name and address along with a fee <br />associated with an unclear process to determine Pervious versus <br />Impervious surfaces which were not mapped and could not be verified. <br />We geocoded their database and joined the address table to the Broward <br />County Property Appraiser's Office GIS Parcel database address table in <br />order to map it to a specific parcel folio number. We then digitized the <br />pervious surfaces from a Georeferenced aerial on each Commercial <br />parcel to get an area. Once everything was mapped and digitized we were <br />able to also verify that the City had several parcels that the Property <br />Appraiser's Office considered Commercial that were not being charged, <br />thus providing additional funding source to the City. <br />CRAVEN THOMPSON & ASSOCIATES, INC. 1 3563 NW 531- STREET.
