C679 STAFFING SECTION 01- STAFFING] REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 14 -07 -02 Based on the scope of services set forth in the Request for Qualifications, Craven Thompson & Associates. Inc. (CTA) has a team of professionals perfectly- suited to provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach with the best possible service that will strive for exceptional consulting services. This team will emphasize creativity as well as management and scheduling techniques which will result in on- time and within budget. Landscape Architecture Services Douglas Schultz, R.L.A., LEED AP will be the Landscape Architect Project Manager and with his parks and recreational design experience, blended with streetscape experience, high - profile waterfront design and extensive construction background, will bring a unique and refreshing design aesthetic to the renovations and improvements for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. He is currently the project manager on three passive parks for the City of Sunrise, two of which are focused on environmental awareness with the other a more urban oasis. Mr. Schultz is also the project manager for the City of Sunrise Bicycle, Pedestrian and Greenways Trail Master Plan for the City of Sunrise. This exciting master plan is currently under development for the City. He was previously the project manager for the design and construction observation of a 4 acre waterfront park along the Ohio River in Owensboro, Kentucky which consists of ample hard and softscape public plazas which include elaborate fountains,'a performance pavilion, a continuous river overlook promenade and a large themed fully ADA accessible playground. Engineering Services For the Engineering Services task Douglas Taylor. P.E. will serve as Project Manager. Mr. Taylor has over thirty (30) years of experience in engineering design and project management in the public sector. This includes past experience working with the City of Sunny Isles Beach. In addition he has written on grants for various municipalities and has been successful on obtaining funds for a number of them. This includes: $9 million for the City of Hallandale Beach; and $3.9 million for the City of Oakland Park. He recently prepared a Pre - Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Grant for North Andrews Gardens for the City of Oakland Park, and an FDEP 319 Grant for the Town of Davie. As listed in the Scope of Services, the consultant will be responsible to provide comprehensive services relating to landscape architecture and engineering. Included in this section is an Organizational Chart and detailed resumes of the key personnel to be assigned to the City of Sunny Isles Beach contract including the sub - consultants.
