On Sunday, May 28th, Addendur <br /># 1 (only addendum) was released allowing firms one additional day to submit due to the memorial <br />day Holiday. (The original bid date was Tuesday, May 30th, however with this addendum extended to <br />Wednesday, May 31st.) <br />On Wednesday, May 31, 2023 by 11:00 AM, the City Clerk's office received two proposals, <br />DOWNTOWN TOWING COMPANY and PRESTIGE AUTO TRANSPORT TOWING & RECOVERY IN, <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach intends to enter into an agreement with two (2) successful proposers tc <br />provide towing services on a month-to-month rotating basis. The awarded firms will provide 24 hour <br />towing services, 365 days per year. The proposer will supply the City with priority services. Contractor <br />and subcontractor facilities shall be within a 7 -mile radius of the City, available equipment/storage <br />facility are subject to inspection by the City. <br />In order to make the determination for award, on June 5, 2023, the evaluation committee met in a <br />sunshine publicly advertised meeting to evaluate the two proposals received.
