4g �Srr <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager <br />FROM: Genesis Cuevas, Purchasing Manager <br />DATE: August 17, 2023 <br />RE: Authorize a Spending Increase to the Blanket Purchase Order with HomE <br />Depot for FY 22-23 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />On September 15, 2022, the City Commission approved resolution 2022-3395 for an amount NTE o <br />$110,000. The Blanket Purchase Order does not have enough funds to cover for the remaining of the <br />fiscal year 2022-2023. The City is requesting an additional $20,000 spending authority to cover <br />invoices for the remaining months of the FY22-23. Therefore, the City is requesting authority to spent <br />an amount not to exceed $130,000 with Home Depot for various maintenance, repair, industrial and <br />other operating supplies. <br />At the end of the FY, any allocated funds that are not used will be voided and the PO will be closed. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The City shall utilize the Omnia Partners Contract No. 16154 which expires 12/31/2026 to purchasE <br />maintenance, repair, industrial and other opera/ng supplies from Home Depot, in accordance with <br />Sec/on 62-13(c) of the City Code. OMNIA Partners is the largest and most trusted cooperative <br />purchasing organization for public sector procurement. As a member of Omnia, the City is able tc <br />participate and utilize competitively solicited contracts to obtain the best goods/services and pricing <br />available in the market. <br />The City receives a 5% annual rebate for the participate on in the Home Depot's incentive program. <br />Item Number: 10.E <br />114 <br />
