=gC pt � F SJ4\ 54 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager <br />FROM: Fabricio Volpi, Public Works Superintendent <br />DATE: August 17, 2023 <br />RE: Approval of a Third Amendment with CT Mechanical to Provide Maintenanc( <br />and Warranty Services for the Air Conditioning System at Gateway Park <br />Center <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to renew the agreement with CT Mechanical for the on-going <br />preventative maintenance and warranty services for the HVAC system at Gateway Park Center. <br />The City Commission approved a one-year renewal on July 20, 2023, however the City wishes to rene\n <br />the agreement for a two-year renewal to lock in said cost. CT Mechanical has agreed to the two-year <br />renewal. <br />Section 5 of the original Agreement between the parties is hereby amended to include additional <br />compensation for the two-year renewal term in an amount not to exceed $49,992.30 per year to <br />equal an amount not to exceed $99,984.60 <br />Section 5 of the Agreement is further amended to provide for $25,000.00 in contingency for additional <br />services, should additional services be needed. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in account no. 001-5-5720-44603-15000. <br />Item Number: 10.H <br />146 <br />
