REASONS: Public Works is requesting to increase spend authority with Graybar in an amount $55,000 to purchase Holophane and Sesco decorative light poles for Collins Ave. and Golden Shores. This amourr is in addition to the existing purchase orders with Graybar for FY 22-23. If item is approved, the tota FY 22-23 spend authority with Graybar is $105,000. The primary purpose of this request is to purchase and inventory light poles in order to readily replace as a result of car accidents damaging existing poles. Two (2) light poles needed to be replaced due to two separate car accidents in FY22-23. The lead-times for these light poles are a minimum of four (4) months. The city's risk department is responsible for processing settlements involving damages to the city's light poles by motorist. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The city piggybacks Omna Partners Contract # EV2370, which is active until January 31, 2023. The Graybar cooperative contract provides public sector agencies with cost-saving solutions for any data/communication, networking, wireless, security, electrical and lighting needs. Per the contract, Section 23. Contractor certifies that this Contract contains Contractor's lowest anc best pricing for all services supplied by Contractor to any government, governmental entity, political subdivision, city, state, school district or any other public entity in the United States as of the date of Item Number: 10.G 122
