Calvin, Giordano 8 Associates, Inc. <br />E% C E P T I O N A L 5 0 t U T 1 0 NS <br />Sandra Lee, AICP CEP, LEED AP BC +D <br />Director, Environmental <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />Ms. Lee has 20 years of professional experience and directs CGA's Environmental <br />Department, coordinating regulatory permitting, environmental planning, site assessment, <br />resource management and environmental technical support services. Before joining <br />CGA, Ms. Lee was a biologist with the Growth Management Division of Monroe County. <br />During the three years that CGA provided planning and zoning services for the newly <br />incorporated City of Marathon, she lived full -time in the Florida Keys and was responsible <br />initially for all the environmental planning for the City of Marathon and subsequently for <br />a full range of planning services for the City. Prior to relocating to Fort Lauderdale, Ms. <br />Lee was a resident of the Florida Keys for 10 years where she became very familiar with <br />the environmental sensitivities regarding the Flora, fauna, land and special government <br />programs governing and protecting the 160 -mile string of coral islands making up the <br />Keys, a designated area of critical State concern. In general, Ms. Lee: <br />• Provides technical support, environmental resource management, environmental <br />planning and sustainable development services to public and private entities <br />• Provides permitting services to obtain environmental resources permits at the <br />local, state and federal level <br />• Coordinates inter- agency and multidisciplinary team efforts <br />• Provides most feasible development and mitigation options, and the probable costs <br />for mitigation options <br />• Prepares Coastal and Conservation Elements for Comprehensive plans, coordinates <br />on Comprehensive Plan Evaluation and Appraisal Reports (EAR) and EAR -based <br />amendments <br />• Designs wetland mitigation plans, provides bidding and construction oversight <br />services for the construction and installation of mitigation and natural areas <br />• Manages the compliance monitoring on over 2,000 acres of constructed wetlands <br />and administers the maintenance contract on over 2,000 acres of created and <br />enhanced wetlands <br />• Conducts and manages field staff conducting wetland, wildlife and habitat <br />assessments, imperiled species surveys, mitigation compliance monitoring <br />reporting, and tree surveys <br />Pembroke Harbor, Pembroke Pines. Conducted the quarterly, five year compliance <br />monitoring and reporting program on 31.2 acres of wetland containing emergent marsh, <br />tree islands, and open water with a hydric berm separating the mitigation from an adjacent <br />drainage canal. <br />Miramar Pinelands: Conducted the quarterly, five year compliance monitoring and <br />reporting program on 31.9 acres of wetland creation located on Broward County Park <br />land at the historic head of the Snake Creek slough, contains open water and wet prairie <br />habitat. <br />Phillips Plat, Port Everglades. Conducted the quarterly, five year compliance monitoring <br />and reporting program on 8.6 acres of tidally influenced mangrove habitat recognized as <br />a Local Area of Particular Concern by Broward County. <br />Land Clearing Review, Loxahatchee Groves: On behalf of the Town reviewed and issued <br />the land clearing permit for a 15+ acre religious facility on Pineland habitat, developed <br />the tree mitigation plan, developed the performance guarantee estimate, conducted the <br />site inspections to ensure compliance to the issued permit, and final permit close -out. <br />
