Project Manager for the development of a computerized base map of 80 square <br />miles comprising the City of Port St. Lucie. The first phase entailed establishing horizontal control utilizing GPS and <br />setting vertical control benchmarks throughout the city. Detailed topographic information was gathered for all the <br />public roads (800 miles) via electronic data recorders and overlaid on a geometrically precise map of the platted <br />subdivisions. Raster images of aerial photography were scanned thus providing a photographic overlay for the <br />digital map. <br />Relocation and Land Acquisition Assistance Program - Base Mapping- Broward County Aviation Department. <br />Project Manager for the relocation and land acquisition project for the Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International <br />Airport. Directly involved in all aspects of the project including deed and right -of -way analysis for 12 square miles <br />of property and approximately 2,800 parcels. The data base of utilities, runways, rights -of -way, plats, sectional and <br />ownership information serves as the base map for the GIS system. <br />Property Map - Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport - Broward County Aviation Department. <br />Project surveyor responsible for the maintenance ofthe Airport Property Map. Responsibilities include the mapping <br />of new parcels, reviewing ownership and easement documentation and working closely with Aviation Department's <br />legal staff on deed interpretation. <br />51 <br />
