Currently, WA holds similar contracts with other local municipalities and is well versed in these types of contracts and will be able to provide additional support to ALL of the City's upcoming projects. WA has enjoyed working in the Sunny Isles community over the past five years or so as WA was the architect for the expansion at Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor Elementary School and well as the very recent addition at the Norman S. Edelcup Senior High School. As one of the premiere multi - discipline, design and planning firms in South Florida, WA offers a full -range of comprehensive professional design services and due to its in -house services (architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil engineering, and cost estimating), can offer the City a single- source for most tasks required under this contract. Not only has WA completed more than 500 projects under similar contracts for municipalities and other public agencies in the past 25 years the firm was founded on continuing service contracts out performing on each and every one of them. Structural engineering design will be handled by Bliss & Nyitray who was the engineer of record for the Norman S. Edelcup Senior High School and the teams landscape architectural firm is Savino Miller Design Studio who is responsible for the master planning at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. WAbrings significant related experience in the design and execution of municipal projects, and in some cases addresses the requirements for continued operation of the building or facility. This combined experience insures an understanding and appreciation for the challenges to be faced with municipal projects, as well as, a background in resolution of each of the challenges. During its 37 years in business, WA has successfully completed hundreds of miscellaneous and continuing service contracts for more than 60 governmental agencies throughout the United States. WA understands these contracts often involve the completion of several, simultaneous tasks WA is equipped to accomplish multiple, concurrent assignments with efficiency WA is able to respond to diverse project types and works orders with its in -house staff Our experience in new construction, renovations and remodeling, mechanical and electrical upgrades and repairs of public facilities has given the firm an intimate understanding of the specialized design solutions required for this type of contract. We are confident that our experience, depth and our successful completion of similar projects to the ones proposed along with the firm's abundance of continuing service experience that WA will be able to respond to all of the City's design needs.
