a. Fails to begin the work under the contract within the time specified in the <br />"Notice to Proceed,'' or <br />b. Fails to perform the Work, or fails to maintain adequate progress towards <br />completion of the work, or fails to provide sufficient workers, equipment <br />and/or materials to assure completion of work in accordance with the <br />terms of the Contract, or <br />c. Performs the work unsuitably or neglects or refuses to remove materials <br />or to perform anew such Work as may be rejected as unacceptable and <br />unsuitable, or <br />d. Discontinues the execution of the work, or <br />e. Fails to resume work which has been discontinued within a reasonable <br />time after notice to do so, or <br />f. Becomes insolvent or is declared bankrupt, or commits any act of <br />bankruptcy or insolvency, or <br />g. Allows any final judgment to stand against the Contractor unsatisfied for a <br />period of 10 days, or <br />h. Makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors, or <br />i. Fails to carry out the requirements of the FDOT's DBE Participation <br />Program, or <br />j. If at any time the Surety executing the bond is determined by the FDOT to <br />be unacceptable and the Contractor fails to furnish an acceptable <br />substitute Surety within ten (10) days after notice from the FDOT. This ten <br />(10) day notice and cure period is in lieu of the seven (7) day period set <br />forth below, or <br />k. For contracts that exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00), FDOT may <br />terminate this Contract if the Contractor is found to have submitted a false <br />certification or has been placed on the Scrutinized Companies with <br />Activities in Sudan List, the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the <br />Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List, or <br />l. For any other cause whatsoever, fails to carry on the work in an <br />acceptable manner, or <br />m.
