RedSpee& FIOrlda,llC <br />14. Customer may allow REDSPEED to build needed infrastructure in existing Customer owned easement <br />as necessary and only after required permits have been approved. <br />15. Customer's Traffic Infraction Enforcement Officer(s) shall process each potential violation in <br />accordance with State Law and/or Customer Ordinances within five (5) days (excluding Saturday, <br />Sunday and City observed holidays) of its appearance in the Law Enforcement Review Queue, using <br />ReclCheck to determine which Violations will be issued as Notices of Violation. <br />16. Within seven (7) days of the execution of the Agreement, Customer shall provide REDSPEED with a <br />form of Uniform Traffic Citation that complies with the provisions of Chapter 316 of the Florida <br />Statutes, with the understanding that some modifications may be necessary to enable use with <br />REDSPEED's systems. <br />17. Customer shall provide REDSPEED with instructions or specifications for the treatment of affidavits, <br />with the understanding that any modifications that are necessary to ensure compatibility with <br />REDSPEED's processes are subject to the City's approval or disapproval. <br />18. Police Department workstation computer monitors for citation review and approval should provide a <br />minimum resolution of 1280 x 1024. <br />19. For optimal data throughput, Police Department workstations should be connected to a high-speed <br />internet connection with bandwidth of T-1 or greater. <br />20. Police Department shall provide signatures of all authorized police users who will review events and <br />approve citations on forms provided by REDSPEED. <br />21. If Customer does not provide payment processing services, Customer shall use REDSPEED payment <br />processing services. The fees for lockbox credit card services are included as part of the fixed fee <br />structure. <br />22. All Uniform Traffic Citation hearings/proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the laws of <br />the State of Florida. REDSPEED shall not be required to provide a judge or hearing officer or <br />adjudication facilities to schedule and hear disputed Uniform Traffic Citations. <br />23. Customer shall handle inbound and outbound phone calls and correspondence from defendants who <br />have questions about disputes, and other issues relating to citation adjudication. Customer may refer <br />citizens with questions regarding REDSPEED or IPE System technology and processes to websites <br />and/or toll-free telephone numbers provided by REDSPEED for that purpose. <br />24. Any potential, one-time, direct costs to REDSPEED to develop an interface between the Customer's <br />computer system will be initially paid by REDSPEED and any such reasonable costs will be reimbursed <br />to REDSPEED in addition to its normal fees, upon receiving the appropriate prior approval of the City. <br />25. If remote access to the REDSPEED IPE System is blocked by Customer network security infrastructure, <br />the Customer's Department of Information Technology shall coordinate with REDSPEED to facilitate <br />appropriate communications while maintaining required security measures. <br />P,ige 15 1 19 <br />
