She earned her bachelor’s <br />and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University and <br />is currently a professor at Miami Dade College where she teaches Accounting <br />and Tax. She oversees the recruitment, payroll, workers compensation, <br />benefits, and HR compliance of the department. She led the implementation <br />of the ACA medical insurance, 401k, parentalleave, and supplemental <br />benefits. She works closely with all work-related incidents, ensuring all <br />employees are well informed and attended to. She is an ISSA CITS <br />certified master cleaner. She has a thorough knowledge of modern <br />practices, techniques, and tools used in janitorial work. Mrs. Lopez has a <br />remarkable ability to direct, supervise, and train subordinates and a strong <br />ability to detect, analyze, and take appropriate action to mediate and <br />correct maintenance problems.
