Widening of existing <br />sidewalks including ADA accessible ramps, expand <br />sidewalk design, sidewalk elements and mid-block <br />mini parks. New landscaping, tress, <br />groundcover and irrigation <br /> <br />DERM01‐WASD‐NLE‐WEST 54" PCCP Force Main <br />Owner: Miami‐Dade Water & Sewer Department <br />Reference: Nelson Cespedes ‐ 786‐552‐8142 <br />Construction Cost: $6,649,092 ‐ 2005 (9,100 LF of <br />54"PCCP) <br />Role: Foreman <br />Project consisted 54" PCCP near Opa‐Loka Airport, <br />NW 57th Ave and Le‐Jeune Rd. Construction <br />required 54" Plug valves, fittings, access <br />manholes, air releases, restrained pipe, interior <br />lining, extensive de‐ watering, deep excavations <br />over 18-foot-deep, sheeting and shoring. We <br />constructed open cut excavation of 30-foot canal, <br />and also NW 57th avenue. Extensive coordination <br />with airport personnel, DOT, including the <br />blocking off South Florida Water Management <br />canal within their strict guidelines and safety <br />protocols. Our crews worked thru the weekends <br />and nights to minimize impacts to NW 57th Ave. <br />The project also included the use and <br />coordination of SBEs. Access to businesses, on <br />ramps, and the airport was a daily necessity <br /> <br />FDOT SR 823/NW 57TH AVE/RED ROAD <br />Owner: FDOT/MDWASD – $20,865,766.28 <br />Reference: Nelson Cespedes 305-607-0799 <br />Role: Foreman <br />Project mainly consisted of the installation of <br />4,848 feet of 54-inch bar-pipe through Red Road, <br />including crossing an existing 48-inch Forcemain <br />(installed by us in 2004). As part of the work, we <br />had to install the new main through the <br />intersection of Opa-Locka Blvd/ NW138 St, and <br />Red Road. Given our past performance with FDOT <br />we were able to guarantee completing the <br />crossing during a weekend. Despite some <br />challenges, we were able to keep our promise. <br />Traffic was restored by Sunday afternoon <br /> <br />Weston Force Main and Drainage Improvements <br />Owner: City Of Weston ‐ $4.3 million, 2015 <br />Reference: Bryan Williams 954‐448‐5828 <br />Role: Foreman <br />Project mainly consisted in the installation of 8,000 <br />feet of 16‐inch DIP and 8,800 feet of up to 72" Pipe, <br />including several culvert crossing main City <br />thoroughfare roads, requiring lane shifting, road <br />closures and many detours. <br /> <br />Northeast 38th Street Reconstruction <br />Owner: City of Oakland Park – $3.4 million <br />Contact: Ronald Desburnes, P.E. <br />Role: Foreman <br />As part of a FDOT funded project (LAP), Ric-Man <br />performed drainage, sewer, and roadway <br />infrastructure improvements to the City of Oakland <br />Park’s Northeast 38th St. from Northeast 11th Ave. <br />to North Andrews Ave. Drainage construction <br />included the installation of 1,614 feet of 18- to 48- <br />inch RCP and 60 drainage structures. Utility <br />construction included the demolition or <br />abandonment of existing sanitary utilities and the <br />installation of 450 feet of 6- to 10-inch PVC sewer <br />main, 11 laterals, and 4 manholes; as well as 12,500 <br />feet of telecom and electrical conduit.
