Florida Senate - 2024 CS for SB 684 <br />578-03037-24 2024684c1 <br />436 this state on behalf of a property owner who participates in a <br />437 Community Development Block Grant -Disaster Recovery program <br />438 administered by the Department of Commerce, unless the permit <br />439 application fails to satisfy the Florida Building Code or the <br />440 enforcing agency's laws or ordinances. <br />441 (b) A local government must meet the timeframes set forth <br />442 in this section for reviewing building permit applications <br />443 unless the timeframes set by local ordinance are more stringent <br />444 than those prescribed in this section. <br />445 (c) After Within an applicant submits <br />446 an application to the local government, the local government <br />447 must provide written notice to the applicant within 5 business <br />448 days after receipt of the application advising slcta ! elv se the <br />449 applicant what information, if any, is needed to deem or <br />450 determine that the application is properly completed in <br />451 compliance with the filing requirements published by the local <br />452 government.
