One component acrylic latex caulking, ASTM C834, with a minimum <br />75% recovery when tested in conformance with ASTM C736. <br />Acceptable, or City approved equal: <br />Pecora AC -20 <br />Tremco Acrylcalk <br />Sonneborn Sonolac <br />Bostik Chem -Calk 600 <br />2. One component acoustical caulking, non-drying, non -hardening, <br />synthetic rubber. Acceptable: <br />Pecora BA -98 <br />ACCESSORIES <br />A. PRIMER: <br />No staining type, recommended by sealant manufacturer to suit application. (Note: <br />Not all sealants require a primer. Consult with manufacturer to determine if primer <br />is required for specific materials to be sealed.) <br />B. JOINT CLEANER: <br />Noncorrosive and nonstaining type, recommended by sealant manufacturer; <br />compatible with joint forming materials. <br />C. JOINT FILLER: <br />Traffic type joints: <br />Approximately 70 durometers solid neoprene, sized to fit joint widths <br />and depths. <br />2. All other joints: <br />Preformed polyethylene foam cord, closed cell sponge butyl cord, or <br />urethane foam strips sized for 30% compression in joints, as <br />recommended by sealant manufacturer, and which is compatible <br />with the sealant. <br />D.
