The failure to include any items of corrective work on such list does not
alter the responsibility of Contractor to complete all of the Work in accordance with the
Contract Documents. Warranties required by the Contract Documents shall commence
on the date of Substantial Completion of the Work or designated portion thereof unless
otherwise provided in the Certificate of Substantial Completion. The Certificate of
Substantial Completion shall be submitted to City through the Contract Administrator and
Contractor for their written acceptance of the responsibilities assigned to them in such
Certificate.
44. Within thirty (20) calendar days after the Project Initiation Date specified in the
Notice to Proceed, Contractor shall submit to Consultant a complete list of
preliminary data on items for which Shop Drawings are to be submitted and shall
identify the critical items. Approval of this list by Consultant shall in no way relieve
Contractor from submitting complete Shop Drawings and providing materials,
equipment, etc., fully in accordance with the Contract Documents. This procedure
is required in order to expedite final approval of Shop Drawings.
45.3. After the approval of the list of items required in Section 45.2 above, Contractor
shall promptly request Shop Drawings from the various manufacturers,
fabricators, and suppliers.
