53. Removal of Equipment: <br />In case of termination of this Contract before completion for any cause whatever, <br />Contractor, if notified to do so by City, shall promptly remove any part or all of Contractor's <br />equipment and supplies from the property of City, failing which City shall have the right to <br />remove such equipment and supplies at the expense of Contractor. <br />54. Nondiscrimination: <br />In connection with the performance of the obligations contained in the Contract <br />Documents, the Contractor shall not exclude from participation in, deny the benefits of, or <br />subject to discrimination anyone on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, <br />disability, religion, income or family status. Additionally, Contractor shall comply fully with <br />the City of Miami Beach Human Rights Ordinance, codified in Chapter 62 of the City Code, <br />as may be amended from time to time, prohibiting discrimination in employment,.housing, <br />public accommodations, and public services on account of actual or perceived race, color, <br />national origin, religion, sex, intersexuality, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital and <br />familial status, age, disability, ancestry, height, weight, domestic partner status, labor <br />organization membership, familial situation, or political affiliation. <br />55. Project Records: <br />City shall have the right to inspect and copy, at City's expense, the books and records and <br />accounts of Contractor which relate in any way to the Project, and to any claim for <br />additional compensation made by Contractor, and to conduct an audit of the financial and <br />accounting records of Contractor which relate to the Project and to any claim for additional <br />compensation made by Contractor. Contractor shall retain and make available to City all <br />such books and records and accounts, financial or otherwise, which relate to the Project <br />and to any claim for a period of three (3) years following Final Completion of the Project. <br />During the Project and the three (3) year period following Final Completion of the Project, <br />Contractor shall provide City access to its books and records upon seventy-two (72) hours <br />written notice. <br />45 <br />382 <br />
