Grandinetti, Police Captain <br />9/18/2014 <br />RE: Authorization to ratify the renewal of the agreement and expend up <br />to $112,914.00 annually with Action Labor Management d /b /a <br />Staffing Connection, for School Crossing Guard Services. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorization to ratify the renewal of the agreement and expend up to <br />$112,914.00 annually with Action Labor Management d /b /a Staffing Connection, <br />for School Crossing Guard Services. <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach currently utilizes the services of Action Labor <br />Management d /b /a Staffing Connection for School Crossing Guard Services and <br />would like to ratify the renewal of the agreement for an additional one (1) year <br />term as authorized in our current agreement. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach has been satisfied with the services of Action <br />Labor Management and if ratified, will continue to provide an estimated ten (10) <br />school crossing guards & one (1) supervisor at locations designated by the police <br />department. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funding is budgeted in account# 10.521 -5317 <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Resolution <br />• Third Amendment <br />Agenda Item No. IOD <br />Date 9/18/2014 <br />160 <br />
