Currently, the Miami Beach Police Department hosts a server that all law enforcement agencies
who utilize the Vigilant Solutions License Plate Reader System in Florida get their information from. The
electronic database housed at Miami Beach Police Department assists law enforcement agencies in
detection, identification and recovery of stolen vehicles, wanted persons, missing and/or endangered
children/adults and persons who have committed serious and violent crimes. The system can also be
used to developing and pursuing leads in criminal investigations. This server complies with CJ IS Security
Policy.
