The Company will reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with a known disability if <br />reasonable accommodation will be made unless it creates an undue hardship for the <br />Company. The individual must make known to the Company the need for a reasonable <br />accommodation and is free to suggest an accommodation but there is no guarantee that the <br />suggested accommodation will be provided. The individual must contact the Human Resources <br />Representative if a reasonable accommodation is being requested and provide sufficient <br />information for the request to be evaluated. Requests by qualified individuals with disabilities for <br />reasonable accommodations will be considered and discussed with the manager and the <br />Human Resources Representative. The manager and Human Resources Representative will <br />jointly determine the nature and scope of the accommodation to be made, after consideration <br />of the particular circumstances, including any hardship to the Company. <br /> <br />All information obtained concerning the medical condition or history of an applicant or <br />employee will be maintained in separate medical files and will be treated as confidential <br />information that will only be disclosed as is essential or necessary. <br /> <br />Employees who have any concerns regarding the application of this policy should feel free to <br />discuss them with the Human Resources Representative at any time. All such inquiries will be <br />treated as confidential and will only be disclosed on a need-to-know basis. <br /> <br /> <br />2. SUBSTANCE ABUSE <br /> <br />2.1 Drug-Free Workplace Policy in General <br /> <br />VisualScape Inc. believes that drugs (including alcohol), taken for non-medicinal purposes, have <br />hol subjects the employee, co- <br />the job; and undermines ability to operate effectively and efficiently. <br />Accordingly, VisualScape Inc. has implemented a drug-free workplace policy consistent with <br />both federal law and Section 440.101, et seq., Florida Statutes. It is a condition of employment <br />that all employees abide by this policy concerning drugs and alcohol. Employees and <br />supervisors will be required to participate in a Drug and Alcohol Free Awareness Program on an <br />annual basis. <br /> <br />Taking or being under the influence of any controlled substance or intoxicant, without a <br />prescription, during work time -- on or off premises -- will not be tolerated. <br />Manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, possessing, selling, or using any non-prescription <br />controlled substance or intoxicant during work time -- on or off Company premises -- is strictly <br />prohibited. This prohibition also applies to alcohol and the misuse or abuse of prescription <br />and/or over-the-counter drugs. <br /> <br />Any employee convicted of a controlled substance-related violation, including a plea of nolo <br />contendere or no contest, must notify his/her manager within five (5) days of such conviction or <br />plea. <br /> <br />Employees who violate this rule will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination, and <br />may forfeit eligibility for medical and indemnity benefits and/or unemployment compensation <br />benefits. At its discretion, VisualScape Inc. may require employees who violate this policy to <br />successfully complete a drug or alcohol abuse assistance or rehabilitation program, at the <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
