PUBLIC INTERNET COMMUNICATION POLICY <br /> <br />The Company recognizes the rights of individuals to participate in online social web sites, blogs, <br />outlined below have been developed to protect the rights of the Company, its employees, and <br />you from libelous claims. <br /> <br />Employees may access authorized Company Web Logs for business use only. Employees are <br />prohibited from accessing non-authorized Web Logs for personal use during company time and <br />on company equipment. <br /> <br />When communicating on a Web Log, employees should always post a disclaimer stating that <br />the views and opinions found on their Web Log are personal views and in no way represent the <br />views or opinions of the Company or any of its entities. Employees are reminded that they are <br />legally responsible for any commentary posted on a Web Log. Employees can be held liable for <br />posting inaccurate, defamatory, obscene, proprietary, or libelous content. For these reasons, <br />employees should exercise caution with regard to posting exaggerations, colorful language, <br />obscenity, copyrighted materials, or other questionable content on any Web Log. <br /> <br />non-authorized Company Web Logs or to any non-authorized third party. Confidentiality <br />agreements signed by employees will apply to this policy. Employees are to review their signed <br />confidentiality agreements for guidance as to what constitutes confidential, proprietary, and <br />trade secret information prior to participating in any Web Log. <br /> <br />By participating in a Web Log, you may generate media coverage. If a member of the media <br />contacts you regarding any Company-related matter, please contact the Human Resources <br />Representative immediately for direction as to how to respond. <br /> <br />Always respect and protect your individual rights, the privacy and rights of the Company, your <br /> <br /> <br />Company may request a cessation of such commentary and the employee may be subject to <br />counseling and/or disciplinary action, up and including termination. Nothing in this policy is <br />intended in any way to interfere with, coerce, or restrain any employee from exercising his or her <br />rights under any State or Federal labor law, including the National Labor Relations Act. <br /> <br /> <br />18. USE OF COMPANY EQUIPMENT AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION SYSTEM <br /> <br />oftware, E-mail, electronic Messaging, Instant Messaging, <br />voicemail, intranet, Internet and similar equipment, services and means of electronic <br />business purposes only and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The <br />Company reserves the right to retrieve and review any message composed, sent or received on <br />the System; therefore, the ultimate privacy or confidentiality of messages and the use of the <br />Internet cannot be ensured. Anyone using the System expressly consents to the monitoring of <br />their activities on the System (including e-mail, messaging and use of the Internet) and to the <br />retrieval of data from any computer hardware or other part of any system that records or stores <br />electronic data or information.
