Approach / Methodology <br />Benefits of TD Positive Pay are: <br /> Provides protection against certain types of check fraud <br /> Fraud detection at encashment at the branch <br /> Enables viewing of the image of the check through commercial online banking <br />prior to making a decision <br /> Provides the option of paying for services by maintaining compensating <br />balances or by direct charge through account analysis <br /> <br />TD Bank also offers Positive Pay with Payee Name Verification as optional service <br />enhancement, which is a process that requires payee information to be provided to the <br />Bank on the positive pay issue file before the checks are mailed and/or distributed. TD <br />Bank will then process the payee information and store it on our Account <br />Reconcilement platform. <br /> <br />R. Credit Cards Processing <br /> <br />The City currently has TD Bank as its merchant processor. Please provide any relevant <br />information on these services. <br /> <br />TD Bank has the privilege of being the incumbent service provider for the City. This <br />represents business as usual to the City without any disruption to your daily banking <br />needs. Below is an overview of our Merchant Solutions service. <br /> <br />S. Armored Car Service <br /> <br />1. The bank will provide services necessary for the City to utilize an Armored Courier <br />Service for pick-up of the City’s deposits for same day deposit. Pick-up will be daily at <br />one location within the City, as follows: <br />th <br />City Hall, Finance Department, 4 Floor, 18070 Collins Avenue – Deposits from <br />this location are to be picked up for same day credit on select days in which the <br />City is open for business. Frequency of pick-ups has not been determined yet. <br />Proposer shall provide the latest time each day deposits can be picked up for <br />same day credit and the fee structure based upon every day, every other day and <br />intermittent frequencies. <br />2. Each and every deposit pick-up will be receipted for by signature in a City maintained <br />logbook. <br />3. The armored courier service company will service the pick-up location and keep <br />current photo identification and signature samples of each and every person assigned <br />to pick up such deposits from the designated City location. This provided <br />documentation will be relied upon by the City for turnover of such deposits. <br /> <br />4. The Proposer must state in the proposal if there are additional charges assessed to <br />the City for deposits greater than a certain dollar amount. <br /> <br /> <br />Proposed by: TD Bank, N.A.Page 38 <br /> <br />
