This program allows for all <br />West will work hand in hand with the city and the A/E to work through any issues as they arise to <br />tasks and activities to be scheduled using a critical path method. In addition, it allows company- <br />wide linking of its projects to be able to get a whole view of the resourcing needs of the company <br />into the future. <br />A project schedule forms the road map to success for a project. The schedule allows for early <br />offset any costs that may occur throughout the project due to agency requirements, Errors and <br />omissions, or other items that were not known at time of bid by finding workable solutions to <br />maintain the submitted proposed cost and not have cost overruns. This is a team approach that <br />requires by in from the Contractor, A/E, and Client; a team approach. <br />identification of critical materials, outside agency requirements, and sequencing of the work. <br />All long lead items will be identified early in the preconstruction process, submitted and released <br />upon approval. West will work with the A/E on re-select if any specified items are not available <br />in time based on the date required for installation on the CPM Schedule.
