(CITY No. TBD) PROJECT NO. 11723.06 (KEITH) <br />PROJECT NAME: Town Center Park Playground Renovation <br />Project Location: 17200 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (CLIENT/OWNER) has requested that KEITH (CONSULTANT) provide <br />design services to renovate the existing Town Center Park. <br />The existing park property is located on the northwest corner of 172nd Street and Collins Avenue. This <br />property is identified within Folio #31-2211-001-0290 and is owned by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The <br />overall property is approximately 3.5 acres and the area that will be renovated is located on the east <br />portion of the park as highlighted below. The proposed upgrades to the existing park include a new <br />bathroom facility with storage and covered vending machines (not included in this proposal), new <br />playground and exercise equipment, lighting, open space, walking trails, natural shade, and plenty of <br />seating areas. The newly constructed Meditation Garden to the west side of Town Center Park will remain <br />and should be kept isolated from the playground area. The existing gazebo and shade structure will <br />remain in place. No additional parking will be provided. The parking lot as well as the ingress and egress <br />to the lot will remain. <br />Per the CLIENT, the following professional services are to be included in the proposal: <br />1. Survey by KEITH <br />2. Civil Engineering by KEITH <br />3. Planning and Landscape Architecture by KEITH <br />4.
