Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting September 18, 2014 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br />10X. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br />an Increase in Purchasing Authority with Lukes - Sawgrass Landscaping, Inc. for <br />Interim Landscaping Maintenance Services, in an Amount Not to Exceed S 100;000.00; <br />Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; <br />Providing for an Effective Date. <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Assistant City Manager Bill Evans reported that <br />Luke's contract was up at the end of August and we are at the end of our approved Purchase <br />Order. We need to continue our service with them for monthly maintenance for September <br />and possibly half of October, depending on if we complete negotiations for another one -year <br />renewal. We will bring the Agreement back to Commission in October for approval. <br />Public Speakers: None <br />Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution.
