c,rr of sr�+ r`'o <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager <br />FROM: Colin Summers, Cultural & Community Services Director <br />DATE: January 16, 2025 <br />RE: Approval of Expenditure of Budgeted Funds for the Purchase of Three 2025 <br />Ford F-150 Trucks from Duval Ford <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this Resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />The Cultural & Community Services Department is seeking approval to purchase one (1) 2025 Ford F- <br />150 XL Crew Cab truck and two (2) 2025 Ford F-150 XL Regular Cab trucks from Duval Ford for an <br />amount of $147,233.00 via Florida Sheriff's Association Light Vehicle Contract FSA 24 -VEL -32. These <br />vehicles have been budgeted as capital items in the FY24/25 budget. <br />With the addition of these trucks to our current fleet (10), the Parks Division will be able to rotate <br />vehicles out for maintenance as well as have enough vehicles available for all staff while on duty. <br />Upon Commission approval and the issuance of a Purchase Order to Duval Ford, the trucks should be <br />delivered to the dealership in either April or May of this year. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in Account#001-6-5720-464200-00000. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Quote <br />Item Number: 9.N <br />354 <br />
