<br />16 <br /> RFP 24-12-01 CITYWIDE ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />2.10 MONTHLY / QUARTERLY INVOICES PAYMENTS <br />Awarded contractor shall submit invoice for review and processing to Accountspayable@sibfl.net. <br /> <br />2.11 MULTIPLE AWARD <br /> <br /> The City may award multiple firms (primary and secondary) as available, by line item, by group, <br /> or in its entirety, as deemed the best interest of the City. The City will endeavor to utilize <br /> consultant(s) in order of award. It is the intent of the City to award a Primary and a Secondary <br /> Consultant for services to be provided to the City under this proposal. The Primary Consultant <br /> shall be the initial firm mobilized by the City. The Secondary Consultant will be utilized in <br /> instances where the scope of the event merits additional resources to assist the Primary <br /> Consultant, or if the Primary Consultant has defaulted its contract. However, the City may utilize <br /> other proposals in the event that: 1) the consultant is unable to be in compliance with any <br /> contract or delivery requirement; 2) it is in the best interest of the City to do so regardless <br /> of reason. <br /> <br />2.12 CLEAN-UP <br /> <br />All unusable materials and debris shall be removed from the premises at the end of the workday, <br />and disposed of in an appropriate manner. Upon final completion, the vendor shall thoroughly <br />clean up all areas where work has been involved as mutually agreed with the associated user <br />department’s project manager. <br /> <br />2.13 COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />All items to be purchased under this contract shall be in accordance with all governmental <br />standards, to include, but not be limited to, those issued by the Occupational Safety and Health <br />Administration (OSHA), the National Institute of Occupational Safety Hazards (NIOSH), and the <br />National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). <br /> <br />2.14 SUBCONTRACTORS <br /> <br />If the Contractor proposes to use subcontractors in the course of providing these services to the <br />City, this information shall be a part of the bid response. Such information shall be subject to <br />review, acceptance and approval of the City, prior to any contract award. The City reserves the <br />right to approve or disapprove of any subcontractor candidate in its best interest and to require <br />Contractor to replace subcontractor with one that meets City approval. <br /> <br />Contractor shall ensure that all of Contractor’s subcontractors perform in accordance with the <br />terms and conditions of this Contract. Contractor shall be fully responsible for all of Contractor’s <br />subcontractors’ performance, and liable for any of Contractor’s subcontractors’ non-performance <br />and all of Contractor’s subcontractors’ acts and omissions. Contractor shall defend, at <br />Contractor’s expense, counsel being subject to the City’s approval or disapproval, and indemnify <br />and hold harmless the City and the City’s officers, employees, and agents from and against any <br />claim, lawsuit, third-party action, or judgment, including any award of attorney fees and any <br />award of costs, by or in favor of any Contractor’s subcontractors for payment for work performed <br />for the City.
