THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROJECT NO. 21-1011 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT RELOCATION TO ANNEX <br /> <br />Project No. 21-1011 November 2024 024119 Selective Demolition-5 <br /> <br />stones over 6 inches in diameter, roots, or other organic matter. B. Removed and <br />Salvaged Items: <br /> <br />a. Clean salvaged items. <br />b. Pack or crate items after cleaning. Identify contents of containers. <br />c. Store items in a secure area until delivery to Owner. <br />d. Transport items to Owner's storage area [on-site] [off-site] [designated <br />by Owner] [indicated on Drawings]. <br />e. Protect items from damage during transport and storage. <br />f. Refer to Drawings for items to be salvaged <br /> <br />B. Refer to Drawings for items to be removed and reinstalled <br /> <br />1. Clean and repair items to functional condition adequate for intended reuse. Paint <br />equipment to match new equipment. <br /> <br />2. Pack or crate items after cleaning and repairing. Identify contents of containers. <br /> <br />3. Protect items from damage during transport and storage. <br /> <br />4. Reinstall items in locations indicated. Comply with installation requirements for <br />new materials and equipment. Provide connections, supports, and miscellaneous <br />materials necessary to make item functional for use indicated. <br /> <br />C. Existing Items to Remain: Protect construction indicated to remain against damage and <br />soiling during selective demolition. When permitted by Architect, items may be removed <br />to a suitable, protected storage location during selective demolition and reinstalled in their <br />original locations after selective demolition operations are complete. <br /> <br />D. If unanticipated mechanical, electrical, or structural elements that conflict with intended <br />function or design are encountered, investigate and measure both nature and extent of <br />the conflict. Submit report to Architect in written, accurate detail. Pending receipt of <br />directive from Architect, rearrange selective demolition schedule as necessary to continue <br />overall job progress without undue delay. <br /> <br />3.5 CLEANING <br /> <br />A. Clean adjacent structures and improvements of dust, dirt, and debris caused by selective <br />demolition operations. Return adjacent areas to condition existing before selective <br />demolition operations began. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
