AWS D1.4 - Structural Welding Code Reinforcing Steel. <br /> <br />14. CRSI - Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute - Manual of Standard Practice. <br /> <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Steel Reinforcement Shop Drawings: Placing drawings that detail fabrication, bending, <br />and placement. Include bar sizes, lengths, material, grade, bar schedules, stirrup <br />spacing, bent bar diagrams, bar arrangement, splices and laps, mechanical connections, <br />tie spacing, hoop spacing, and supports for concrete reinforcement. <br /> <br />B. Qualification Data: For installer and manufacturer of reinforcement. <br /> <br />C. Material Certificates: For each of the following, signed by manufacturers: <br /> <br />1. Steel reinforcement and accessories. <br /> <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. Perform Work in accordance with CRSI Manual of Standard Practice, ACI 117, ACI <br />301, and ACI 315. <br /> <br />1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> <br />A. Steel Reinforcement: Deliver, store, and handle steel reinforcement to prevent <br />bending and damage. Avoid damaging coatings on steel reinforcement. <br /> <br />1.6 COORDINATION <br /> <br />A. Coordinate work under provisions of Division 1 - General Requirements. <br /> <br />B. Coordinate with placement of formwork, formed openings and other Work. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 STEEL REINFORCEMENT <br /> <br />A. Recycled Content of Steel Products: Provide products with an average recycled content <br />of steel products so postconsumer recycled content plus one-half of pre- consumer <br />recycled content is not less than 60 percent. <br /> <br />B. Reinforcing Bars: ASTM A 615, Grade 60, deformed. <br /> <br />C. Epoxy-Coated Reinforcing Bars: ASTM A 615, Grade 60, deformed bars, ASTM A <br />775, epoxy coated, with less than 2 percent damaged coating in each 12-inch bar <br />length. <br />D. Plain-Steel Welded Wire Reinforcement: ASTM A 185, plain, fabricated from as- drawn <br />steel wire into flat sheets. <br /> <br />E. Epoxy-Coated Welded Wire Reinforcement: ASTM A 884, Class A coated, Type <br />1, plain steel. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
