Hot Weather Concreting and Curing: Placing and protection of concrete shall <br />be in conformance with ACI 305.1 and shall meet approval of Engineer prior to <br />its use. <br /> <br />1. Contractor shall conform to ACI 305.1 when following conditions exist: <br /> <br />a. Any combination of high air temperature, low relative <br />humidity and high wind velocity. <br />b. Any combination of rising air temperature and falling relative <br />humidity. <br /> <br />2. Under hot weather conditions, Contractor shall be responsible for <br />making arrangements for installation of windbreaks, shading, fog <br />spraying, sprinkling, ponding or wet covering of light color. <br />Arrangements shall be made in advance of placement and such <br />protective measures shall be taken as quickly as concrete hardening and <br />finishing operations will allow. <br /> <br />3.3 PROTECTION OF FINISHED WORK <br /> <br />A. Protect finished work under provisions Division 1 - General Requirements. <br /> <br />B. Do not permit traffic over unprotected floor surface. <br /> <br />3.4 FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF COMPLETE WORK <br /> <br />A.
