Fire Barrier Partitions and Covers: 3M type PSS-7904 R device complete with front <br />and back covers of 3M composite sheet CS-195 or accepted equivalent, all <br />necessary related galvanized steel supports, cover plates and fastenings. <br /> <br />8. Metal Supports for Firesafing "Packing Material": <br /> <br />a. 30 gages by 1-inch-wide galvanized sheet steel "Z" shaped clips to <br />support "packing material" around floor penetrations. <br />b. 10 gage galvanized steel wire hat shaped support hangers to support <br />"damming material" or "packing material" at floor penetrations. <br />c. Hardware cloth of 19 gage galvanized 1/2" mesh wire. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 EXAMINATION <br /> <br />A. Examine substrates and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements <br />for opening configurations, penetrating items, substrates, and other conditions affecting <br />performance of firestopping. Do not proceed with installation until unsatisfactory conditions <br />have been corrected. <br /> <br />3.2 PREPARATION <br /> <br />A. Surface Cleaning: Clean out openings and joints immediately prior to installing firestopping to <br />comply with recommendations of firestopping manufacturer and the following requirements: <br /> <br />
