<br /> <br />23 <br />ITB 25-01-01 CITY ANNEX BUILDING CONSTRUCTION RENOVATIONS <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />SECTION 3 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICE: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City"), a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, <br />is requesting bids from qualified Contractors (“Bidders,” “Proposers,” “Contractors”) to renovate <br />an existing City building to become the new offices of the City Building Department along with a <br />commercial space to lease as a new cafe. The building area is approximately 9100 sf. The majority <br />of the interior has been demolished, demolition permit is in place for awarded contractor to <br />complete. The project location is 18050 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. <br /> <br />The scope of work shall be in accordance with the bid plans, as more particularly described in <br />Attachments A - D, as titled below: <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT A – PRICE SHEET <br />ATTACHMENT B – BUILDING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />ATTACHMENT C – SPECIFICATIONS <br />ATTACHMENT D – GEOTECH REPORT <br /> <br />3.1 AS-BUILT RECORDS: <br />A complete set of as-built records shall be kept by the Contractor at the job site. These records <br />shall show all items of construction and equipment which differ in size, shape or location from <br />those shown on the Contract drawings, also any additional work, existing features or utilities <br />revealed by construction work which are not shown on the Contract drawings. These records shall <br />be kept up to date daily. They may be kept on a marked set of Contract drawings to be furnished <br />the Contractor for this purpose, or in any other form which is approved prior to the beginning of <br />the work. They shall be available at all times during construction for reference by the City, and <br />shall be delivered to the City prior to pre-final inspection. <br /> <br />3.2 SHOP DRAWINGS <br /> <br />The Contractor shall submit Shop Drawings in accordance in Attachment C, Bid Specifications. The <br />purpose of the Shop Drawings is to show the suitability, efficiency, technique of manufacture, <br />installation requirements, details of the item and evidence of its compliance or noncompliance <br />with the Bid Project. <br /> <br />The City Engineer’s approval of the Shop Drawings will be general and shall not relieve the <br /> Contractor of responsibility for the accuracy of such Drawings, nor for the proper fitting and <br /> construction of the work, nor for the furnishing of materials or work required by the Contract and <br /> not indicated on the Drawings. No work called for by Shop Drawings shall be performed until the <br /> said Drawings have been approved by the City Engineer. Approval shall not relieve the <br /> Contractor from responsibility for errors or omissions of any sort on the Shop Drawings. <br />
