Other governmental agencies in Florida use their service, including <br />Hallandale Beach, Cocoa Beach, Margate, Islamorada, Marathon, and more. The monitoring services <br />produce rental activity data that is used to ensure compliance with City ordinances, such as active <br />advertisements, booking data, and revenue. City staff uses then compares this data to the City's short- <br />term rental license register to check for unlicensed rental activity or potential work without a permit. <br />Three quotes were requested for these services from three vendors; however, two vendors that have <br />contracts with other governmental agencies did not reply. <br />This agreement request is for a 2 -year period from January 16, 2025 — January 16, 2027 for a total NTE <br />amount of $49,900.00. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Funds have been appropriated in Account No. 001-4-5241-431000-00000 - Professional Services - <br />Planning& Zoning Department. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Item Number: 9.0 <br />182 <br />
