Section includes wall base <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. <br />B. Samples: Manufacturer's color charts consisting of actual tiles or sections of tiles showing <br />full range of colors and patterns available for each type of resilient floor tile and base <br />indicated. <br />C. Sample warranty <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Single-Source Responsibility: Obtain each type, color, and pattern from a single source <br />with resources to provide products of consistent quality in appearance and physical <br />properties without delaying progress of the Work. <br />B. Fire-Test-Response Characteristics: Provide resilient stair accessories with a critical radiant <br />flux classification of Class I, not less than 0.45 W/sq. cm, as determined by testing identical <br />products per ASTM E 648 by a testing and inspecting agency acceptable to authorities <br />having jurisdiction. <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver materials to Site in original unopened containers each bearing names of product <br />and manufacturer, project identification, and shipping and handling instructions. <br />B. Store materials in dry spaces protected from the weather. Maintain ambient <br />temperatures between 50- and 90-degrees F. C. Store base on flat surfaces. <br />1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Condition materials in spaces where they will be installed a minimum of 48 hours prior to <br />installation. <br />B. Install resilient products after other finishing operations, including painting, have been <br />completed. <br />1.6 EXTRA MATERIALS <br />A.
