.J <br />Ir <br />LUNFICOK <br />YOUR �C•45TRUCFION PP.RShc"R <br />Past Performance <br />Project One: Pinecrest Upper Gardens Renovation <br />Construction Project Contract No. 2020-018. <br />Total Contract Value: $6,325,235.90. <br />Description of project scope: Pinecrest Gardens Upper <br />Garden renovation projectwas designed for construction <br />of improvements to offer the following features:Ir <br />k <br />construction of a new, all-inclusive playground featuring <br />larger than life whimsical animals and built on industry <br />leading poured in place, environmentally friendly ground <br />cover. Other improvements include expanded <br />programming, new ADA accessible and compliant restrooms constructed with an accessible picnic <br />area, wheelchair -friendly nature trails, and a range of sensory features for all children and adults <br />including those with cognitive abilities, wheelchairs or assistive devices; a spectacular new petting <br />zoo featuring areas where people of all abilities can engage with the animals while learning about <br />their habits and habitats and a mountain made from boulders where goats can climb to its summit; <br />Lighting and landscaping upgrades; and new, wheelchair friendly nature trails. A new Sensory and <br />Learning Garden was installed which features hands-on gardening tools designed for individuals of <br />all abilities. The last component of this new area was the construction of a new stand-alone building <br />called the Inspiration Center, adjacent to the Sensory and Learning Garden, and interactive Mini Zoo. <br />This 2,253 -square -foot building provides much needed climate control for children on the autism <br />spectrum who are sensitive to temperature extremes, a dedicated classroom and rehearsal hall that <br />will enhance the area's educational and cultural programing activities. Major scope divisions <br />performed include Site Development/Utilities and Landscaping; Demolition, Tree Relocation, and <br />Temporary Fence for construction; Architectural Concrete for sidewalks; Smooth face CMU block <br />installed with specialized Stone Veneer Masonry added; installed specialized custom Hurricane <br />rated aluminum -framed Entrances and Storefront; single and double doors and windows. All <br />windows and doors complied with installation per Miami -Dade County NOA engineering for HVNZ <br />zone typical standards; Thermal and Moisture Protection; Metal Studs, Finishes (Interior and <br />Exterior); IT/Comm/Data, Fire Protection and Suppression/ HVAC/MechanicaUPlumbing and <br />Electrical. Specialized Perimeter Fencing installed around zoo area, Specialty Equipment installed <br />for Playground and Sensory Equipment. CCTV system -cabling infrastructure installed in all facilities. <br />Coordinated with client POC on connecting and powering up and testing cameras, switches, media <br />converters server and storage devices to support security requirements of the property campus. <br />Description of the type of work performed by the Offeror: Lunacon performed this contract as a <br />Hispanic Woman Owned Prime General Contractor. Self -Performance included demolition, drywall, <br />and rough --in carpentry. Lunacon used drywall labor, carpenters and general laborers for the work <br />that was self -performed. Lunacon also performed all project management, site superintendent, <br />onsite quality control and onsite safety. The percentage of the construction work self -performed by <br />Lunacon and its labor crews was 30%. <br />Actual start & completion dates (month/year): 01 /28/2021 —12/1512022.
