Windows were double pane; operable, low a coated storefront style windows.
Windows also had reflective coating on the exterior. Allwindows and doors complied with installation
per Miami -Dade County NOA engineering for HVNZ zone typical standards Site Development and
Site Utilities performed included a topographic survey prior to the commencement of work.
Excavation and other methods were used to locate buried underground utilities by employing
electromagnetic induction technology in conjunction with ground penetrating radar. Manholes,
manholes, inlets, and other such structures were accessed and connecting pipes field surveyed.
Fencing installed around the back area of the building. Concrete work include Concrete Pads,
Islands, Bollards, and Sidewalks installed around the building and in the constructed parking lot.
Native landscaping installed.
Description of the type of work performed by the Offeror: Lunacon performed this contract as a
Hispanic Woman Owned Prime General Contractor. Self -Performance included drywall and rough -
in carpentry. Lunacon used drywall labor, carpenters and general laborers for the work that was self -
performed. Lunacon also performed all project management, site superintendent, onsite quality
control and onsite safety. The percentage of the construction work self -performed by Lunacon with
its labor crews was 25%.
Actual start and completion dates (month/year): 6/1112019 — 4/30/2021. The opening ceremony
was held in Oct 2021. The original completion date was projected for the end of August 2020. Due to
COVID 19, schedule impacts began in March 2020. The project encountered major schedule impacts
and delays which Miami Dade County authorized and approved an extension for the project to be
completed by April 2021. Major impacts and delays were caused by equipment not available by the
manufacturers and needed for the building. i.e., so, when states implemented lockdowns and
quarantine protocols, many factories and mills shut down because they were not considered
"essential" in most states. Items like HVAC equipment and roofing materials remained severely
impacted because the manufacturing companies did not have employees to build for timely delivery
to job sites. Labor shortages became relevant in the construction industry which impeded daily
production rates. Many workers, when laid off at the beginning of COV1D due to shutdowns, never
returned.
Lunacon Engineering Group Corp dba.
