ITB # 25-01-01
City Annex Building Construction Renovations
Page 83 of 103
Persons Services Corp.
Section 4. Approach / Methodology
A guiding principle of our approach to preconstruction is effective team
coordination. This will be achieved through project meetings, teams meetings
including key subcontractors when needed and a collaborative data sharing site
including site visits and kick off meetings to discuss site specific questions, safety
and submittals prior to the start of construction.
Collaboration and Data Sharing. A collaborative data site (Procore) will be used
to support data collection, information management, and scope compliance. The
use of Sharepoint, Procore, as our collaboration sites will offer numerous benefits,
particularly to end users and team members involved in design and construction.
These benefits will significantly enhance team productivity, data management, and
project outcomes by fostering a more connected and efficient working environment.
Pricing and Scheduling. PSC prepares a Critical Path Method (CPM) baseline
schedule that is updated monthly and reflects each key project milestone to support
project reviews. Project durations will be bought out with subcontractors during the
bidding and subcontracting stages to make sure required staff are included and
maintained during construction due to the expedited timeline.
Laydown areas and storage will be kept to a minimum due to the available space,
so our team will utilize just in time deliveries and hoisting activities, will be
coordinated to maximize installation of materials and utilize the equipment to
minimize mobilizations needed. We will work with the City to coordinate submittals
and procurement of long lead items so they are available when needed and to
prevent any delays due to equipment or materials.
