The board of trustees shall meet at least 4 times 1756 <br />each year, upon the call of the chair, or at the request of a 1757 <br />majority of the membership. 1758 <br /> 2. The fiscal year for the Florida Virtual School shall be 1759 <br />the state fiscal year as provided in s. 216.011(1)(q). 1760 <br /> (b) The board of trustees shall be responsible for the 1761 <br />Florida Virtual School's development of a state-of-the-art 1762 <br />technology-based education delivery system that is cost-1763 <br />effective, educationally sound, marketable, and capable of 1764 <br />sustaining a self-sufficient delivery system through the Florida 1765 <br />Education Finance Program. 1766 <br /> (c) The board of trustees shall aggressively seek avenues 1767 <br />to generate revenue to support its future endeavors, and shall 1768 <br />enter into agreements with distance learning providers. The 1769 <br />board of trustees may acquire, enjoy, use, and dispose of 1770 <br />patents, copyrights, and trademarks and any licenses and other 1771 <br />rights or interests thereunder or therein. Ownership of all such 1772 <br />patents, copyrights, trademarks, licenses, and rights or 1773 <br />interests thereunder or therein shall vest in the state, with 1774 <br />the board of trustees having full right of use and full right to 1775
