In August 2023, the City entered into a <br />sublease agreement with American Federated Title Corp. and PRA Hospitality LLC to operate the <br />restaurant. At that time it was discussed that American Federated Title Corp was actively searching for <br />a new restaurant operator. Also discussed was the need to update the venue to attract the quality <br />operator they were seeking as well as to provide the best product to our residents. <br />American Federated has submitted a renovation plan to improve the functionality and the aesthetics of <br />the restaurant. This project would be managed and financed through American Federated and would <br />not require funding from the City. However, as the city is the owner of the property, the lessee is <br />required to get approval from the City for any substantial changes to the facility. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />The goal of American Federated is to return the pier restaurant to the premier venue that it used to be. <br />They are committed to investing in this project. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />No funding is required from the City for approval of this resolution. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Item Number: 9.M <br />560 <br />
